Kaitlin Mangan is an NYC-based Assistant Director with experience spanning all aspects of film production. Her interest in film began as a child: recording videos of her Littlest Pet Shop toys in her room. Her interest in film as a passion began after seeing the film Moonlight (2016) for the first time. Moonlight, for Kaitlin, showed her the difference between loving a movie and wishing to be have been part of it.
Kaitlin has worked on sets across the United States, France, The Netherlands, Switzerland, and Italy with inspired directors exploring themes such as identity exploration, cultural isolation, sexual assault, and suicide loss. She is dedicated to working with passionate people, to being part of something greater than just one person.
Kaitlin finds herself drawn to stories that move people, challenge perspectives, and translate experiences; she seeks to replicate this in her own craft. This passion is what drives her career pursuit.
