Kaitlin Mangan is an NYC-based assistant director. Her interest in film as a passion began as a child, recording videos of her Littlest Pet Shop toys in her room. Her interest in film as a pursuit began after seeing the film Moonlight (2016) which introduced her to the idea of film as an artistic medium rather than simply a means of entertainment.
Kaitlin has worked on sets across the United States, France, The Netherlands, Switzerland, and Italy with inspired directors exploring themes of cultural isolation, sexual assault, and suicide loss. She is passionate about working with passionate people, being apart of something greater than just one person.
She finds herself drawn to stories that move people, challenge perspectives, and translate experiences; she seeks to replicate this in her own craft. This passion is what drives her pursuit.
